Built in 1880 by William Schultz (1843-1888) with bricks hauled from Cass County for $4,000. Brick house with much of the original woodwork and walls. 1895 expansion removed in the 1950's because it had fallen into decay. The exterior roof and four rooms have been meticulously created to their 1880 splendor. Cut stone window sills. Additional brick from the house and wood trim appropriate for the house are available. The rest of the house needs rehabilitation. Spring fed pond down the hill from the house. Pond needs to be thoroughly cleaned of trees and probably needs to be treated. A stunning house ready for a delicate hand and good taste to make it perfect.
