Stager Lake is a Walleye and Northern lake. Alpha Creek, a Type 1 Trout creek circle around the eastern side of the Village. There are large tracts of woodlands in the area provide hunting for Black bear and Whitetail deer, and an active Rifle and Pistol Club is located just outside of town.
