Hunting for Bear, Coyote, Whitetail Deer, Fox and Small game, Game Birds and Waterfowl is also a favorite activity here! The popular, family oriented, Aura Jamboree which is a multi-day musicians picnic and dance fest, has taken place annually since 1976, at the Aura Community Hall, just south of this property. In the early 1920s the area was booming and several schools were built throughout the area to accommodate the growing number of families moving into the area. It is believed this school building was built about 1927. Remodeling, and construction of additions to the building started to take place by private owners in 1975, after it closed as a school.
