My husband, George, and I have been involved in real estate for over 35 years. We owned and operated State Wide Real Estate in St. Ignace allowing us to help many of our friends and neighbors in our community achieve their goals of home and property ownership. In 2000, after much deliberation, we both felt that it would better serve our customers and community to merge with Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors® - offering a wide range of services, marketing support and national exposure.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
My husband and I are the parents of a son living in Florida and a daughter living just a mile away. We enjoy boating and keep our boat at the St. Ignace Marina, he is the Fleet Captain for the St. Ignace Yacht Club and as a result we have taken many trips across Lakes Huron, Michigan, Erie & Ontario as well as the Erie Canal & Trent Severn Waterways. We are also the grandparents of two very active youngster's resulting in our attending many Hockey & Junior Saints Football games, Girl's Basketball games & Cheerleading Competitions.

Institute I - Principles of Real Estate Appraisal I - Gaining expertise in Property Valuation & Broker's Prep - To gain additional education and knowledge to assist customers in their selling and purchasing process.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Downtown Development Authority - Board member- serving as Acting Secretary for 13 years - this board is instrumental in the development of many community projects including the Waterfront Boardwalk & Parks, Marina Lighthouse & Chief Dock updates, Children's Playground, brick paver walkways, Museum of Ojibway Culture & Museum Store - all projects that make for a great quality of life for all of our residents & visitors! I am also a member of the St. Ignace Chamber of Commerce- Member Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians - Member & Past President - Mackinac Straits Hospital Auxiliary & presently serving as the Vice-Commodore of the St. Ignace Yacht Club.
