Thanksgiving, business, and recruiting

What a great holiday!  We were planning to eat dinner at 5:00 PM on Thanksgiving evening when the power went out at 3:30 PM.  My friends George and Nancy Powell allowed my to drink wine with them while I finished the green bean casserole, sweet potatoe casserole, and boil the potatoes.  Thanks guys, you are true life savers.  I finished raking my leaves, mowed my lawn one more time, and hung out with friends/family the rest of the weekend.

I had an open house on my listing at 911 3rd St. and had two parties come through.  I have one this weekend at 7550 E. Meadows Dr. in Elmwood Township.  This ($155,900) is a 3 bed, 2 bath ranch with full basement, cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace, master bedroom, hardood floors, hickory cabinets, and main floor laundry.  I also took a new listing at 19643 Pine Woods Dr.  This ($169,900) tri-level style home features stainless appliances, cathedral ceilings, open floor plan, island kitchen, finished family room, and wood burning stove.  This home is located in Lake Ann.

I have also had some very good recruiting meetings as of late.  It is a pleasure getting to personally know different agent in our board and understanding the different personalities and styles in our business.  We have been aggressive with proposals as CBSR continues to get lean and mean in these difficult economic times.  We never stop moving!
