Personal Background

I was born and raised in Traverse City Mi. by my wonderful hardworking father Seferino, my mother Donna passed away  in 1979' leaving my father to raise the 3 of us children alone.  

Our family has cultivated deep business roots in the community. My grand father Elmer Schaub was the creator/owner of "Elmer's Crane & Dozer" he was very passionate about his business and had a large spot in his heart for his 11 grand children. My extended family has served our community and country in the armed forces and local police departments.  My father is a retiree from "Cone Drive-Textron" and my late mother was employed by the now historic "Wellington". All my siblings own and operate their own business. Reno, the youngest has a floor covering installation business.  Angelita, the oldest has a landscape design business and I own and operate a successful cleaning service.

Resident and Business Professional of Beautiful Northern Michigan for over 20 years now.

I have been very fortunate over the past 25 years to have had the opportunity in living on several different lakes in the Greater Grand Traverse Area including the Majestic Manistee River in Kalkaska. My knowledge of area lakes and surrounding amenities are impeccable. I have gained an immense knowledge of DNR laws and state regulations per lake/river over the past 10 years. As an avid outdoors person I enjoy many summer activities including camping in the beautiful Upper Peninsula, bear hunting over hounds as a MBHA member, deer hunting, canoeing, landscape photography and perennial gardening.

 I am the proud mother of 4 wonderful children ranging in age from 2 years to 20yrs.  We enjoy causal family evenings at home, traditional holiday gatherings & together share a strong family faith.
