That said, in my experience as a Grand Rapids real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. Personal Background

 

I grew up on the east side of  Michigan, in a small town southwest of Flint.  My career with United Parcel Service took me from Flint to Indian River, back to Flint, then to the Upper Peninsulas for 8 cold years, and finally ended me up in the Grand Rapids area in 1991.  I graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 1967 and attended Michigan State University for several years.  I am presently married to Leigh, have 3 daughters, and my first grandchild, who we thoroughly enjoy spoiling.  Leigh and I enjoy going up North to her family cottage on Blue Lake in Kalkaska, and I enjoy my jaunts to Vegas and Caesars Palace.  Having owned 2 golf shops for 8 years I also enjoy watching and playing golf.


Professional Background

 

After spending 20 years with United Parcel Service in Management I opened up 2 retail golf stores in the Grand Rapids area.  I spent 8 years in the retail golf business and in 2000 decided to try my hand at Real Estate.  My entire life has been spent in Retail or Management and I knew my strong SERVICE background would lend well to a career that worked so closely with people.

I started my Real Estate career with Westdale Realty and I have been with Coldwell Banker AJS Schmidt since they  took over Westdale Realty in the fall of 2006.  I also spend part of my time working with a local virtual tour company, running the daily business and developing the virtual tours for many local Realtors.
