Personal Background

Cadillac became home for my family in 1987 when we chose to relocate from Minneapolis to Michigan as a result of a career transfer for my husband to the Yoplait USA, Reed City facility.  We found Cadillac to be a great place to raise our four children and spent many years attending music events, cross country races, tennis matches, and ski races.  Our family is now grown and while most of them have moved away from the area--Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Australia--they all enjoy coming home to northern Michigan.  We now enjoy traveling--this past winter we journeyed to Australia to meet our new grandaughter via Fiji, New Zealand and Honk Hong.  During Michigan's beautiful summer season, we are drawn to the area's lakes and rivers--bass and salmon fishing are our main focus.  We are involved members of the Cadillac Christian Reformed Church where I serve as Chairperson of the Worship Committee, plan worship, and participate in the music ministry as Choir Director and Praise Team member.  It would be my pleasure to introduce you to Cadillac--this area we call home.  I look forward to meeting you.
