Professional Background

My sales career began over 17 years ago for a major Midwest Corporation.  Responsible for such a large territory demanded hard work, dedication and "going the extra mile" in order to have received the many awards I was given.  It is my belief that the customer's needs and desires are the most important elements to their purchase.  My success and expertise in this matching process has been proven by being "Rookie of the Year" in the company for my first year in Real Estate.

Personal Background

I was born and raised in Sparta, Michigan.  After high school, I joined the US Marine Corp and was shipped off to the Vietnam War.  Stationed in Danang, I served as an air support technician at a helicopter base for 1 year.  I have wilderness backpacked Wyoming, Colorado, Montana and Utah; collected and sold antiques; completely remodeled an 80 year old farmhouse; built custom weaving looms; and collected old jukeboxes.  Once I bought a 1949 Cadillac and a 1942 full size Fire Engine!

I have two children at Ferris State University.  My son majors in music and business, my daughter is studying graphic design and works on the school paper.  We have a lot of memories camping together, taking trips to Florida and S. Carolina.  The family's interest in music & art probably originated from the huge collection of Blues, Jazz, and Rock & Roll that I have shared along with the creativity that always surrounded them.

It was through one of my long time friends that I was introduced into Real Estate, a field that I would be able to use my past work experiences, achieve goals and help people connect with their dreams.
