THANK YOU for visiting my Website!

I am pleased to share with you my excitement for Real Estate!  Licensed since 1991, I have sat at the closing table countless times as a BUYER and a SELLER of apartment buildings and investment properties, both in Michigan and Palm Springs, California!  As a result, I have learned what makes a great agent, and what does not!  Now, as an active Realtor and Managing Broker, I often think back on the agents that I relied on the most, people that I respected and trusted, and always knew were working their hardest for me!  That served as a terrific mentorship for what was to come.  Real Estate is my passion, and I am pleased to be involved in it now to the extent that I am!  I approach every real estate search or opportunity as an important part of one's financial portfolio, and for the investment potential it brings!  I can also assist in Residential Design and Property Management.  I am a business owner in my community, and also serve on multiple boards!  I am a firm believer in "If you want to get something done, give it to someone who is busy!"

Professional Background

From college I was employed by Amway Corporation, a privately owned multi-billion dollar corporation, initially in a public relations capacity for 4 years, then in international marketing for 2 years!  While in marketing I assisted in the creation of new packaging and promotional materials for a personal care line of products!  In 1998 I left the corporate world to build up my portfolio of investment properties!

Professional Interests

Continuing my education in Real Estate and the ever changing world of marketing it successfully!  I also co-own the Blue Star Antique Pavilion in Douglas, Michigan, a large 175 dealer antique mall!   I also serve on the board of a start-up corporation, and that has been an incredible learning experience as we grow and feel the positive pains of that growth!

Personal Background

I was born and raised in Holland, Michigan where I resided until college.  In 1992 I moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan for my first professional job.  In 1998 I left that job to pursue my own business, which also brought me to Palm Springs, California for the winter months of the next 6 years!  I am now permanently grounded in the greater Saugatuck Douglas area!

Personal Interests

I love the water... pools, beaches, boating, etc.  I also enjoy landscape design and even the maintenance of it!  I enjoy healthy eating and physical fitness.  Thanks to my days in Palm Springs, California, I have become a huge fan of mid-century modern architecture and design!

Community Involvement

Besides co-owning the Blue Star Antique Pavilion in Douglas, Michigan, I am involved in many local organizations including Mason Street Warehouse and the Waterfront Film Festival!  I also serve on the board of the Saugatuck Brewing Company!
