Personal Background

I am married and my wife's name is Sue. Together we have 5 children, Leo, Jacob, Brittany, Chris & husband Keith and Liz. We also have one grandchild, Mackenzie and a little dog named Nitro.

Personal Interests

Ministry is my greatest passion. I love serving the Lord. My wife and I are directors of the Healing Rooms at RLC and I co-lead a men's ministry called Manhood With Purpose. I have been involved with many ministries throughout the years and have even taught at different venues and ministry events.

I like to cook and have been told I am good at it too. The specialty is comfort food.

My other passion is fast cars. Back in the 90s my sport was Drag Racing where my brother and I owned a injected alcohol dragster. I was the driver holding a NHRA and a IHRA license for Top Dragster and Super Pro. Our biggest victory was at the Super Chevy Show in 1995 at US 131 Dragway where we won 7 rounds to be the champion in Super Pro and have our photo in Super Chevy magazine among other lucrative prizes. The car would typically run the 1/4 mile in 7.5 seconds at 180 miles per hour. Zero to 60 in just under 1 second. YES, it is a blast.

My current baby is a 2002 Corvette convertible that also has the distinction of being #22 of 33 Indy festival pace cars for that year. It's millennium yellow with a black top and black leather interior. Advertised top speed is around 177mph.
