Jared is a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors®, member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR,) and member of the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA.) Jared is also a property manager for Birchwood Property Management, a division of Holiday Vacation Rentals. He provides services to buyers, sellers, and REO/bank owned properties in Northern Michigan including Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Alanson, Brutus, Pellston, Boyne City, Cross Village, and Good Hart.

Birchwood Property Management (BPM) manages residential and commercial properties, provides association and condominium management, interior and exterior maintenance, HomeWatch Program services, and project management. Birchwood Property Management is involved in the management of over $60 million in real estate assets.

Education & Continuing Ed

Jared attended Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan for two years where he studied psychology and business management. He later transferred to North Central Michigan College in Petoskey where he earned his AAS in business management. At the same time, Jared took real estate courses from the American School of Real Estate in order to acquire his real estate salesperson license. He is currently attending Western Governor's University online to obtain a BS in business management. He also continually attends seminars, webinars, and classes provided by Coldwell Banker University, the National Association of Realtors, VRMA, and other industry leading resources along with self studies in order to provide customers with the best possible service.

Personal Interests and Hobbies

Travelling- the destination is always a highlight, but it's also the adventures along the way; the journey to that destination that make some of the best memories.
Reading- currently John Grisham.
Technology- anything with technology incorporated in it.
Outdoor activities- hiking, fishing, canoeing, skiing, sledding...
Driving- cars and motorcycles...the open road.
