My Experience
I have been with the Coldwell Banker Schmidt in Fremont since 1991. Beginning as an administrative assistant, I received my sales license in 1993 and my broker license in 1996, and managed the Fremont West office from 2002 through 2007. In 2008 I became the Director of Training & Career Development for the Coldwell Banker Schmidt Family of Companies, and am responsible for coordinating educational and training opportunities for our salespeople from Saugatuck to Marquette.
I have the exciting privledge of working with the leading real estate team in Newaygo County. Caring customer service sets our agents apart from the competition as we seek to match the housing needs of our buyers with the wonderful properties we have available.
Personal Background
I grew up on a fruit farm in Oceana County and graduated from Hart High School. I attended Taylor University and Davenport College until I was married. I worked at home while my children were small doing child care and contracted bookkeeping. In 1995 I went back to college and completed my degree in Business Management, graduating from Cornerstone University in 1997.
Personal Interests
My husband, Barry and I have six grown children and eleven grandchildren. We enjoy kayaking the beautiful lakes and rivers in our area in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter. We also work together on building and remodeling projects and gardening. We are active in our church and community through the Chamber of Commerce, art and health organizations.
