What is a Buyer's Agent?
Under a Buyer's Broker agreement, an agent can represent the buyer in a real estate transaction per Michigan State Law.
Since the real estate fees are usually paid by the seller, it typically costs nothing extra to appoint an agent to represent you as a buyer.
As your buyer's agent, I help you find properties of interest to you. Before making a financial decision, I can provide research and information the seller or their agent may not be aware of.

Where have I been all my life?
A fourth-generation native of Traverse City, I was born at Munson Hospital.
I graduated from high school in 1980, the school now known as T.C. Central High.
After a few years in retail management, while attending college, I studied real estate law and obtained a Michigan real estate salesperson's license in 1985.
I began listing and selling real estate in 1986.
When the economy hit the skids in the late 80's, I relocated to Colorado. I lived in Boulder for 9 years before moving to Ft. Collins where I earned a B.S. in finance and real estate from Colorado State University before returning to Traverse City in 2003.
I enjoy the four seasons, and the many recreational and cultural events offered throughout the year. The area offers many areas of interest to nearly anyone, all year long. I personally like summer the best, and you'll find me out on the bay whenever I get the chance. Let's go BOATING!

A part of the community.
My family's been in the area for a very long time, and as a fourth generation native, I'm known in the community. I'm familiar with all the neighborhoods and schools that serve them, making finding a comfortable home for your family easy for everyone.
I'm also familiar with the many retirement homes and communities in the area.
While the varied challenges of my real estate career take priority to my personal pursuits, I enjoy various personal interests. When I was young, I enjoyed photography as a hobby. While I still have my darkroom equipment, my digital camera has replaced the old 35 m.m. camera. I continue to enjoy the Great Lakes and have a passion for boating and sailing too.
I like to socialize when I have the time, whether attending an event sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce or one of the many cultural events held locally. Traverse City is my hometown and the place I feel comfortable calling home.
