As a Realtor for the past 21 years I have represented buyers and sellers in all types of markets.  While this market does present many challenges, it also present opportunities for buyers and sellers.  My day doesn't start at 8 nor end at 5.  I have found that hard work, accessibility, and a open relationship with my clients makes the difference.  My focus is you.  Call me anytime at 231- 343-1272. 

 

 

Professional Interests

My professional interests are my clients!  I'm not just a member of Realtor associations, I actively participate in local networking groups to make sure I'm up-to-date on issues important to my clients.  For instance, I meet routinely with local bankers, not just the same one but many.  This allows me to customize my referrals to best meet my clients'needs.   Every client is different and it is my mission to tailor my services to meet their individual goals.   

Specialties

Patience!  I don't rush home buyers or sellers.  I'm your representative and I want you to be comfortable with the decisions you make.  We all know that buying or selling your home is a very important decision.  These decision take time and I will be by your side the entire way.  I don't just want to make a sale, I want to be your Realtor. 

Education

I started my college education with Muskegon Community College and received my Associates Degree with honors.  Upon completion of my associates degree, I continued my education at Michigan State University.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.  During my professional career I have earned many specialized certifications in  areas of mediation, counseling and diversity. 

Personal Background

I have lived my entire life in beautiful Western Michigan.  I love all this area has to offer.  I come from a large family.  My father had to continuously build us new homes to accommodate our growing family.  I believe this is what started my interest in buying and selling real estate.   I'm a graduate of Michigan State University (I'm also a U of M fan when they're not playing MSU) and my focus since graduation has been public service.  I'm very driven but not into high pressure or sales gimmicks. 

Personal Interests

I enjoy being physically active including power walking and weight training.  I focus my activities around a healthy lifestyle and my family. 

Professional Background

I have been a licensed Realtor since 1991 with memberships in all local, state and national Realtor associations.  I worked hard to meet and surpass all educational requirements including continuing education and legal updates.

Community Involvement

I contribute to many health organizations including Alzheimer's Association, Meals on Wheels, United Way, Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Mayo Clinic.  I have also made it my personal mission to address not just organizations but individuals with special circumstances and needs. 

 

First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit

First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit.  This term can be confusing.  Many people think this means you can never have owned a home before.  However, that is not the case.  All that is needed is for you to have not owned a home for the past three years.  If that is the case, you may be eligible for the up to $8000 Federal tax credit.  Of course, always consult with a tax expert to determine your eligibility and to find out just how quickly you can access these funds. 

Expanded Home Buyer Tax Credit

Home Buyer Tax Credit.  The Federal tax credit for first time home buyers has recently been expanded to include existing home owners who are in the market to purchase a new home.  If you have owned your home five out of the last eight years, you may be eligible for an up to $6500 Federal tax credit.  Please consult with your tax expert to determine the qualifications for this program.
