Personal Background

I was born and raised in Lake City.  Graduated from Lake City Area High School and Northwestern Michigan College.  Being young and wanting to see the world, I moved myself to Orlando, Florida.  There I met the man who would become my husband.  We have been married now for 26 years.  After being a Navy wife for many years, upon his discharge, we moved from Wisconsin to Arizona and spent 11 years there before deciding to actually return to Michigan.  (There is no such thing as a dry heat!)  I for one am very happy to be back home, although my husband begs to differ just a bit, being that he is from southern California!  He is adapting.

  • Also watch the Tigers.  I am an all round sports fan.
