The motto for my real estate business is be distinct. You might be wondering where I came up with it, and the answer is simple: I love flamingos. Who doesn’t? They are graceful, majestic and, most of all, memorable.
"Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons."
The first time I saw this quote, I knew I had to incorporate it into my business. To stand out, to be memorable, to be distinct are all imperative in all aspects of real estate.
First, as a Realtor, it is very important to be distinct. You want to stand out from the crowd and be the first person that people call when they need to sell or buy a home. If you aren’t distinct and you just blend in with every other Reatlor, why would anyone go out of their way to find you? My goal is to make myself distinct with my customer service skills, knowledge of the market, and ability to help close a deal quickly and easily.
Second, as a seller you have to find a way to make your house something desirable. Even though the market is as hot as our current, it is vital your house is the one people fight over. To get the biggest bang for your buck, the staging, presentation, and representation of your house is crucial. When your house stands out as the best, people will flock towards it.
Last, the buyers need to stand out. Houses are slipping through buyers fingers because they are not making their offers distinct. Sellers are choosing better or less complicated offers. A Realtor has to work with their buyers to make the best possible offer that will be presented to the sellers so they will get selected.
I vow to help my clients be distinct in their real estate endevors. Thank you for taking the time to read this post! Feel free to leave comments! Be Distinct!
