I was born in Traverse City and moved around quite a bit when I was a child, between Florida and Michigan. When I was old enough to know the difference, Traverse City became "home" to me. I absolutely love the city and it's surrounding areas. I truly feel that the people of the community here, are genuinly nicer than in other places I've visited.
I come from a very large family. My mother is one of eight siblings, one boy and seven girls. My father is one of five, one girl and four boys. Our family barbeques are ridiculously large and so much fun. I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel my family is an essential part of my life.
I acheived my Associates Degree, as well as my Pilots License through Northern Michigan Community College. I absolutely love flying, aerobatic training was by far my favorite skill learned. The staff and instructors in the aviation department are a joy to work with and learn from.
I have a 10 year old son, named Myles. He is an amazing, yet firey little red-head that I absolutley adore! When in season, he plays basketball, robotics, and karate. He has tried every possible sport there is, and keeps me on my toes.
- Animals of all kinds
- Detroit Tigers
- My son and I volunteer to ring the bells for Salvation Army around Christmas time. I feel this teaches him a valuable lesson to be an active member of his community.
- I activley work in assisting my district PTO.
- I was most recently nominated to sit on the TCAPS Board of Special Education.
