When you choose me as your Agent, you actually get two!  I partner in real estate with Mark Knapp, who is also my brother.  We've worked together for the past 15 years, and have over 58 years of real estate experience between us.  Our different experience, strengths, and backgrounds complement each other, and we use them to assist the best interests of all our Clients!

Professional Background

My Real Estate Career began 19 years ago (2001). Originally, I worked for the Developer of several luxury real estate developments but primarily worked in the Real Estate Sales Office of the one in Northern Michigan. By 2003, I obtained my Real Estate License and worked full-time as Office Manager for a start-up resort/luxury real estate office in Petoskey.  My position included all aspects of scheduling, marketing/advertising,  review of title work and contracts, bookkeeping/accounting, and statistics. At the same time, having my Real Estate license allowed me to gain experience in sales as well. I have been a full-time Realtor with Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors since 2005. Utilizing my past experience in luxury and waterfront, I specialize in the Global Luxury waterfront and resort markets.  I obtained my Associate Broker License in 2011. Prior to my Real Estate career, I was a Legal Assistant for 18 years, which laid a solid and disciplined foundation in not only details and ethics, but also computers, research, and administrative and business practices. Today, I enjoy assisting clients in all aspects and types of Real Estate here in Northern Michigan!
