My experience and overall competence makes me a leader in this field.  I live real estate and so I don't believe in half measures.  I love working in real estate because of the challenge, because it is constantly changing and evolving, and above all, because I enjoy helping people with their real estate needs.

 


Professional Background

My skill has been honed through twenty-four years of living and working in the real estate field.  My marketing degree from MSU provides me with the building blocks to create customized marketing plans.  I have amassed extensive knowledge about property ownership, development, rental and zoning issues.  My tenacity and close attention to details fuel my determination to see each project through to completion.  I have high expectations and don't believe in "good enough".  I have a strong reputation for honesty and solid ethical practices.  My contact base is huge and I maintain close relationships with other professionals to whom I can refer building and inspection questions.


Professional Interests

Through twenty years of working on the Cleveland Township Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals, I have gained an intimate understanding of government operations, zoning issues land splits and land use regulations.  Owning and operating Fisher's Lakeside Cottages on Lime Lake and a Homestead condominium has taught me a lot about rental issues and property management.  My personal experience in nearly every aspect of real estate will facilitate the successful accomplishment of your endeavor, whether you wish to sell your property or buy something new.

 


Personal Background

I love Leelanau County and feel privileged to have been able to raise my three children here.  Our beautiful environment suits my personality and my fondness for outdoor activities.  For over thirty years I have coached area high school teams and hundreds of junior racers on a volunteer basis.  I love working with people and the satisfaction that comes from a job well done.  Buyers and seller alike find that I am a team player, express great confidence in me and appreciation for my continual communication and attention to their needs.  For me, the first rule of real estate is the Golden Rule:  I treat others as I would want them to treat me.
