This past weekend saw hot and sunny weather for the return of the M-22 Challenge in its 4th year. The event was an unqualified success with nearly 750 people competing for fastest in the county. And between the sandy run up the Dunes and a stiff headwind on the paddle, the event lived up to its billing as “Challenge.” Thanks to all the volunteers who made it possible. http://m22challenge.com/
Coming up this weekend is the Glen Arbor BBQ & Brew Festival. It will feature 9 Michigan breweries pouring more than 25 different beers, local restaurants with their tasty takes on the BBQ theme and live music. Saturday, June 16th from noon to 6 pm. Tickets are $15, which gets you in and a couple pours, additional drink tickets are just $2. Don’t miss it. http://bbqandbrewfest.com/
