Professional Background

My business background has had a broad range of experiences, all of which has required an organized, detail person who can handle numerous activities at the same time. All occupations have been "people" oriented and required excellent communication skills.  My experience ranges from:

      *Real Estate Sales since 2005 

      *corporate buyer of a fortune 500 company

      *owned my own interior design company that designed, created and sold window treatments and other items for the home

      *created and ran a full service home decorating department within a large hardware store,         

      *taught computer classes & design software

      *training and sales of high end, computerized sewing machines and additional classes.                   

      * chaired or participated in many school events and fund raising programs

      *took supplimental college classes that were computer or software related and design classes.

Personal Background

After college, I have moved 9 different times to and within 6 different states. With each move, I was always recruited to become a realtor. Timing was never  right with the major moves that we had, and, the ages of my children. Thru the multiple expeirences of working with real estate agents, I have learned, and utilize, the best habits of these agents, incorporating them into my business practices. From the selling side I know how important good communication is, and pride myself with staying in touch with my sellers. I have a complete understanding of what it is like to move into a new community. It is my mission to be helpful and informative to all my clients. I moved back to Grand Rapids, my home town, 25 years ago. Knowing the communities within and around Grand Rapids and the state has been an asset when answering my clients questions or helping them with information on their communities of interest.


I pride myself with good listening and communication skills with all my buyers and sellers. As a professional realtor, my goal, whether selling or buying, is to meet my clients housing needs as swiftly as possible, negotiating the best price possible and have all phases of the process run smoothly .
