Professional Background

I have long been interested and actively involved in real estate; first received my Michigan Real Estate License in 1986. I lived a "corporate lifestyle" working for General Motors and Raytheon Defense prior to moving to Shanty Creek for the "Resort Lifestyle". Now, I am excited for the opportunity to work full time in the Real Estate Profession. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from my corporate live in the fields of Business Management, Account Management, Consulting and Sales to my real estate practice. However, in real estate, I get to work closely with sellers and buyers and that is a lot more fun than the corporate life.

Personal Background

I am the youngest of 4 brothers, grew up in Indiana where basketball and sports was my life. After high school I went to Grand Rapids for college then got a summer job in Detroit and that summer job has lead to me spending the majority of my adult life in Michigan. I did live in Zurich for a few years while managing global operations for a business unit of Raytheon, it was a great experience but I like it here in the USA and Northern Michigan is a gift every day.

Personal Interests

I still love sports and being active except now it is golf, fly fishing, and boating.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University, and a Master of Science degree from Central Michigan University. Working full time and going to college at night - it was a long haul but I love learning! Still studing and taking classes on a regular basis, now they are all around technology and real estate.
