Thank you for visiting my website. My goal is to provide you with the necessary information that will guide you through the process of buying or selling a home.

As a previous business owner, and one who has attended numerous seminars/presentations/ workshops on Customer Service, Communication and Leadership, please know that serving you with honesty, integrity and "doing the right things for the right reasons," are top priority!

PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

The greatest accomplishment(s) in my life are, and always will be my son and daughter.

As a lifelong learner and one who has a passion for serving others, real estate is a perfect fit!  I was a realtor in the Grand Rapids area from 1995-1999.  I relocated to Cadillac in  and 2000 and put my license in escrow.

I was a Jazzercise Instructor for 16 wonderful years, and became a speaker for numerous WOMENS WELLNESS GROUPS throughout Michigan.

*   Opened SHAY-LEY'S Hair Salon in 2003, and employed five stylists.  Was chosen to be part of the Train the Trainer program with Milady, and served as a support trainer for trainers at hair shows in Chicago, Indiana and Michigan.  I developed and produced a CD series called, "SALON SUCCESS."

*  Became a LIFESUCCESS CONSULTANT oin 2007.  Since that time, I have organized and facilitated numerous Mastermind Groups, studying the book THINK AND GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill.  Have taught the Goal Achiever Seminar, The Success Principles, A,B,C,D'S for Success, CHANGE it UP!, FINISH STRONG, as well as numerous programs presented for the students of Career Tech, and for those participating in Career Day.

*  Speaker/presenter for COSTCO, the MICHIGAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION, Eagle Village, the Chamber of Commerce and hosted my own presentations/workshops.

*  Coached by the Canfield Corporation (Jack Canfield/Chicken Soup for the Soul author), for a year.  Have attended his live seminars, along with numerous other Personal Growth and Development mentors!

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE

Cadillac is where I was born and raised, as was my mom and dad, and grandparents.  It is "home!"  I lived in Sparta, MI, a small community NW of Grand Rapids, from 1988-1999.  Relocated back to Cadillac in 1999.

My brother owned and operated the 7up business in Cadillac from (about) 1970-2001, when he retired.  Both brothers worked together creating a successful, fulfilling business!

 

COMMUNITY

I support and donate to PRECIOUS GEMS, a home for young adult women.  Have done numerous volunteer programs for the Career Tech School.  Have been a presenter for the Chamber of Commerce.   Have been a volunteer presenter for Career Day.  Have volunteered for Toys for Tots, and Project Christmas.

When my children were in school, I volunteered as lunch room mom, playground mom, and library mom.
