If your dog already lies down on point, it is rather easy to correct. The cure is to teach your buddy to lie down on command. Once your pal understands this, you must then teach it to stand up from the down position. Once your birdy buddy understands these commands, you now have the ability to give firm correction in the field. Give the command to stand and reinforce as needed.
