The Value of Relationships...

Understanding the value of relationships is important in any business, but in Real Estate you can't survive without it. For decades now, my family and I have been building relationships throughout this community in multiple ways.

Helping ensure the success of clients and friends is one of the ways to let them know how much I value those ties. I treat each client as a valued friend and look forward to providing you the benefits of using a real estate company dedicated to progressive marketing strategies.

Choosing a realtor is an investment, and I want you to get the most for your money. I welcome and appreciate your business and referrals to your friends, family and business associates.

I look forward to working FOR YOU!

Professional Background

Business Experience

I have 25 years experience as a realtor and a lifetime experience with people in the area. As an inheriter of the Klaassen Family Funeral Home I have been able to understand the value of relationships. People may shop around for a realtor or funeral home but the relationship with the people in the business holds far greater importance than the mere business itself. That is why I uphold the value of relationships.

Coast Guard Festival

I help head the local Coast Guard Festival. This nationally reknowned festival is a two-week event that draws in the largest crowds along the lakeshore. The Coast Guard festival honors the men and women that have served in the Coast Guard, especially in and around the Great Lakes. This is a family-friendly event featuring a parade, carnival, arts and crafts, Kid's Day, Street Dance, ship tour, honorable dinner, amongst many other activities. The entire festival is based around the National United States Coast Guard Memorial Service at Escanaba Park which honors the brave men and women who have given their lives to protect and serve the United States of America.

NATIONAL CITY & FIFTH THIRD ~ My Preferred Mortgage Partners

My preferred mortgage partner is BRUCE DECKER at National City Bank. Bruce has over 20 years mortgage lending experience on the lakeshore and has over 1,ooo satisfied clients. I trust Bruce implicitly with the well being of my clients. He has the most competitve mortgage pricing of any lender on the lakeshore. While I don't require my clients use Bruce and NCB to finance their homes, I strongly recommend they speak with him and consider him as one of their options.

Bruce Decker at National City Bank

Casey Venton at Fifth Third Bank

I also prefer Casey Venton as a great mortgage lender. Casey Venton is an excellent lender based out of Fifth Third Bank in Grand Haven, Michigan.

The Moving Man

I have been an active member of the Tri-Cities community for my entire life. I absolutley love the area and love serving the people of this community. I am currently on the Board of Directors of the Coast Guard Festival where I have served for over 20 years. I have also volunteered for Worship on the Waterfront, the People Center, and the Mulligan's Hollow Ski Bowl. I was a past member of the Grand Haven Area Jaycees, Ottawa County United Way,and the Grand Haven Christian School Board.

I enjoy boating, camping, skiing, and travelling around on my Harley-Davidson Electrica Glide.

Personal Background

I have two daughters, Ashley (19) and Hanna (13). Ashley is currently going to school to get a master's degree in vocal music performance and Hanna is preparing to go to Western Michigan Christian High School next year. I love spending time with my daughters and we love to go boating in the summer and skiing in the winter together.
