Professional Background

 My professional background started in 1987, when I received my real estate license shortly after high school graduation.  I went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in teaching from Valparaiso University in Indiana, then taught middle school in South Bend.  From there, I moved to Lansing, Michigan where I taught 7th and 8th grade at St. Gerard and received a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State University.  The call of the north continued, and my husband and I moved back home in 1995.  Having kept my Realtor license current all those years, I actively jumped into the world of real estate sales in 2005 and haven't looked back.  I received a Rookie of the Year award after my first full year of sales, and have been a multi-million dollar producer ever since, consistently placing in the top ten percent of local Realtors.  2012 was especially great year as I placed in the top 2% of the more nearly 600 Realtors in our region.
