Memorial Day Weekend in Frankfort fantastic

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people that have been in Frankfort this weekend.  When I pulled into town on Saturday, the town was bustling.  The farmers market had great traffic, the local coffe shop and bakery had lines, most of the parking spots were filled and there were people walking and enjoying the town.  The overnight vistors were strong as well.  I attribute some of it to the weather, but I also know that Frankfort is one of the most picturesque towns in the state and having Lake Michigan and our great beach is what draws people here.  We're not a far drive from anywhere in the state so it's a great place to get away and relax.  Hopefully this is a sign of things to come for summer in Frankfort, Benzie County and Northern Michigan.
