My Mission to You
My mission in real estate is to be the agent that I would expect for my family and myself; someone who is trustworthy, credible, and ethical; someone who asks good questions, follows up and follows through; someone who is thorough and detail oriented, respectful and communicates exceptionally well; someone who works hard, looks for better ways to do things and does not pressure decision-making. I love the opportunity to educate and assist my clients in their person real estate goals. The current market conditions are indeed challenging but to me it only means working harder, and as a result, I have been more successful than ever! About Me
After raising my 3 children and furthering my education, I decided to enter a career in real estate as a suggestion from my husband - who knew my personality, my diligence and work ethic and my tenacity for success. I spent some time investigating the industry, local brokerages and met with some friends that were REALTORS prior to making the committment. Entering this career was a risk, you are an independent contractor paying your own expenses, sharing your commissions and after each close - unemployed. Many people do not understand this aspect, there is a very high drop out rate. I interviewed 5 brokers, asking them many questions - not them interviewing me as in the traditional business sense. Real Estate Agents pay their own way and do not cost the broker financially so hiring anyone is a benefit to many brokers out there. I chose a brokerage based on the alignment of my goals and work ethic - AJS Realty; having a WIN-WIN philosophy, balance in life and team organization. What a great brokerage, with leaders that work hard, make themselves available for guidance and support you. Merging last summer with Coldwell Banker-Schmidt was the icing on the cake! Coldwell Banker offers the best in technology (voted best Real Estate Website and 2007 Real Estate Innovator of the Year), a 100 yr old company, one of the strongest Relocation departments and national name brand recognition has boosted my business. I have been in the business for over 3 years. The thank you's and referrals are the best reward! How I Can Assist You
If you are searching for properties you must ask yourself - "If I found a property that I would like more information on, who should I ask? Who should I trust? Who will help me the most?"
In Michigan, all agents represent or sub-represent the Seller, therefore asking the listing agent questions about a property means that your answer will depend on that agents perspective and their committment to the Seller, their client - YOU are just a customer, unless you have a Buyers Agent, looking out for your interests and to represent YOU.
When you are making such a large investment, doesn't it make sense to have someone you trust to assist you in the process. This service is free to you, as the commission is built into the listing paid by the seller to attract Buyers Agents to sell the property. Omitting this step could be a vital mistake. Many people think they know a lot about real estate, but when it comes down to it, there is much more to know than you can imagine. If it were that easy - no one would need agents. There are many aspects to real estate, many laws and practices, that may work out smoothly and very well may not. It pays to have a knowledgable, hard working Buyers Agent.
If you are considering selling......why not get a free Market Analysis on your home, and a net sheet to explain the costs without pressure or obligation? It is better to know the reality of where you stand in the marketplace with your dreams and goals. I can tell you how I would market your home and you can decide if it is inline with your plans.
