HUD Continues to Work Out DPA Issues

According to Realtor Magazine, HUD is still actively developing a program to allow lenders to offer short term bridge loans that will allow first time home buyers to use their $8000 tax credit at purchase to help with down payment. HUD Announces $8000 Tax Credit Can Be Used For Down Payment

This past Tuesday, Housing and Urban Development announced that the Federal Housing Administration is going to permit its lenders to allow home buyers to use the $8,000 tax credit as a down payment.
