I specialize in waterfront homes, commercial listings, and vacant land...BUT...my 130+ listings consist of ALL types of Real Estate...from the modest bungalow...to manufactured homes... to investment properties... to industrial buildings... to small lots AND vast parcels of acreage...to cottages and on to the most luxurious lakefront homes, and fabulous country homes on lots or acres of beautiful land.  I think my real "specialty" is simply helping my buyers find what they are looking for by utilizing the "entire" MLS system!!!   And I help my sellers by having a HUGE presence on the web, as that is where we get over 85% of our buyer leads!  I 'specialize' in my clients and customers "satisfaction"!

Personal Background

Born in Ohio, then on to New York, Florida, and eventually landing in Michigan. (for the past 33+ years!)

My educational background started at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, then on to the University of Florida for my Bachelor of Science Degree, then to Central Michigan University for graduate school classes.  In between, I was taking Real Estate classes and getting started in the work that I learned to love...both in Florida and Michigan.

I have been the #1 Realtor in the #1 office in our tri-county area for 9 of the past 11 years.  Prior to this I was the Broker/ Owner of my own 25 agent office, for over 22 years ('North Country Real Estate/ Better Homes & Gardens').  Then, 11 years ago, I merged my company with 'Coldwell Banker Schmidt' so that I could devote my time to doing what I love...helping people buy and sell the biggest personal investment they will ever make... their home!  I also service many commercial listings and vacant land parcels.  That is why I have adopted the motto...
