The big perch are moving in to Muskegon Lake and White Lake, with limited catches being made in 40-60 feet of water. I went fishing on the 5th of April to check for myself, and while I did not catch any, I did witness fish being caught. Maybe I was there at the wrong time... I will keep trying though.
This is a wonderful time of year as the trees and flowers start showing new buds, and the tulips and other bulbs start sprouting new shoots. It is also the time for newborns on the farms and in the woods. April showers bring May flowers, and we are certainly getting April showers.
So here's to a wonderful Spring and fun Summer!
