I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Mazatlan, Mexico. I did not contract the swine flu, but I did see a pig head for sale at an open air market (as air my stomach wasn't queasy enough). Mazatlan was empty due to the economy and swine flu paranoia. I managed to accomplish three 1sts, zip line/tequila tour, massage, and para-sailing. All three activities were affordable and awesome. We ate great food, enjoyed nine fantastic sunsets, and drank a few Dirty Monkeys (Kaluha, banana, cream, ice). I cannot wait to go back to Mexico and thanks to Coldwell Banker/Schmidt Realtors for the RCI voucher.
It is great to be back in Northern Michigan. The best months of the year are approaching and the market is picking up. Every time I set up a showing I seem to get an answer of "sorry that is under contract." This means sellers are beginning to list their homes correctly and buyers are buying good deals. I have had several positive recruiting meetings recently and prospective agents/companies are understanding the value of the Coldwell Banker/Schmidt Realtors Brand. We have had a solid spring (compared to the market) and will continue to flourish in 2009.
I am very excited to start catching Bass, Salmon, Lake Trout, and Carp in Grand Traverse Bay. These warmer temperatures should casue all of these fish to become more active and hopefully hungry.
My Facebook experience has just begun and it is fascinating. I cannot believe how many people from my past and present are using this networking tool (I think I am the last to join). I will be a riot to reconnect with some of my old friends from high school, college, and maybe nursery school. Well thanks for reading (or not).
