It has been a long week of snow days and being shut in the house, but the sun is out today, and the temperature is rising! If you are looking for something to do to get you out of the house, Hart Main Street Program is hosting the downtown Hart Winterfest and Vintage Snowmobile Show this weekend!

“The 2019 Winterfest will include the Annual Broomball Tournament Friday Feb.1 at 6:30 in parking lot #2 at the southwest corner of State and Main in downtown Hart. Saturday Feb. 2 the Vintage Snowmobile Show takes place on State Street between Washington & Main. Registration begins at 9am in the Hart Main Street office. Categories are 69- older, 70-74, 75-79, 80-90 and the featured sled is John Deer. Show is from 10-1:00pm.
The Annual State Street Mile walk/run will take place at 11:00 at the corner of Polk Road and State Street. Registration is $10, from 10-10:45 in the Hart Main Street office and participants will get a Hart logo hat. Shuttle service will be available to transport runners to the starting line.
The Soup 'r Bowl cook off will be from 11:00 - 1:00 in the following businesses: Hart Pizza, Big Hart Brewing Co. in Hegg's Gallery of Fine Furniture, La Probadita, Soup of The Day Cafe, Kristi's Pour House, La Fiesta restaurant of Hart MI, Merten's Farmhouse Market and Catering llc., The Bakery on the Corner, and Pink Elephant Diner. Tickets for all the tastes are $5 and available in the Hart Main Street office.
