Welcome to my Website
They say, "Home is where the heart is". That old adage is so true. With the hectic pace of our daily lives, it's always great to safely arrive back home.
However, there are times when the place we've called "Home" no longer suits our needs. A growing family can make a home feel too small. An "empty nest" suddenly feels too big. Perhaps you're a first time home buyer who is feeling a bit over-whelmed by the home-buying process and could use some guidance. Maybe you are an investor looking to add a new income property to your portfolio. No matter the situation, whether you're buying or selling, I can help.
As your Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt licensed realtor, I have the marketing resources to help you find the home of your dreams. I'll work for you and with you as an advisor and friend, keeping you informed every step of the way.
Buying or selling a home can be a complex undertaking. I'd like to help you through the process while keeping things as stress-free as possible. Let me create for you a smooth journey home!

I was born in Lansing and raised in Grand Rapids. In 1988, I married my wife, Julie. We have three children; Eric, Elliott, and Emma. We also have a golden retriever named Sam.
Julie and I bought our first home in Fruitport. We moved to Grand Haven in 1999 and have enjoyed living here ever since. We feel blessed to live in such a wonderful community where we've developed lots of lasting friendships. As a family we enjoy nature walks, camping, biking, and of course, the fantastic Lake Michigan beaches!
Although I was a licensed Realtor in the early 1980's in the Grand Rapids area, I've actually made my living in music most of my life. I've traveled coast to coast as a singer, guitarist and radio broadcaster. For the past 27 years I have owned and operated, "Entertainment on the Move", a Grand Haven-based company specializing in providing music for wedding receptions and corporate events. Running that company taught me skills in sales, marketing, and especially customer relations. These are skills that naturally transfer to the world of real estate.
I have purchased two homes through the years and several income properties. These transactions inspired me to pursue a career in real estate.
I love music and sports. (I'm a huge Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions fan!) I also love dogs and flower gardening.
Past volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Kids Hope USA

"Few things in life can be more stressful than seling your home. We're so glad we choose Greg Martin as our agent because he not only knew what he was doing, he also understood what it meant to us. You can't beat such a combination of compassion and good business practices."

"I want to take this opportunity [long overdue] to thank and endorse Greg Martin for his "over the top" service and attention to detail on the sale of our house. Our questions and concerns were answered and handled quickly, and if and when we decide to list in the future, Greg will be our "go to guy". Again, Thank you Greg for all you did and continue to do."

"When my husband and I decided to sell our condo, we wanted to work with a realtor who is patient, persistant, attentive & honest. We experienced those qualities as we worked with Greg Martin. Since our condo was limited to a particular age group, Greg had to be creative in advertising and marketing stategies. And that he was! Now that our condo has successfully been sold, we intend to work with Greg in the furture as we know he will take good care of us.
