One of the things that I love writing about is not only educating people regarding Real Estate  but also talk  about the  beautiful area where I not only live but also sell Real Estate.  Petoskey and Harbor Springs both reside on Lake Michigan (Little Traverse Bay) and host a ton of fascinating history.   For those of you that are not familiar with this area you truly need to visit and experience not only the beauty and charm but also what attracted so many to settle here at the turn of the century.   Although boating, skiing and snowmobiling had nothing to do with the early settlers, it was the escape from the big city heat  that attracted people to travel here and relax and enjoy the cool summer breezes off  the shores of Lake Michigan and to be very honest it still does!

Not only is there an abundance of history here but over 22,400 square miles of fresh water reside in Lake Michigan and both the cities of  Petoskey and Harbor Springs are snuggled up to the beautiful shores of Little Traverse Bay.  Please take some time to visit Little Traverse Bay Historical Museum  and view the  beautiful history of our area.  In addition, if you like what you see and I am sure you will it is well worth the time to block off a week or two to experience it!
