I do well as a Buyer Agent and love to represent buyers in their search.
Welcome to my Website. I am hoping that it may be of value to you for all of your real estate needs.
I was first licensed as a real estate salesman in 1973. My passion for putting the right people in the right home has never dwindled, but children, a career in skilled trades, and other things got in the way. I relicensed in 2003 and have never been happier, doing the one thing that brings my career and personal likes together.
I have a great interest in and derive great pleasure joining people with the right property.
I was first licensed in 1973 and have always loved real estate. My children came to live with me and a career with General Motors as a toolmaker took the lead. Many years later, after retirement in 1999 I moved north to Houghton Lake. After buying a home on acreage and enjoying retirement I went back and relicensed in 2003. The old feeling of doing something of use to the community and to families returned and I was off. A slump in the market had me semi-retired again until this past fall. I love working with people and just being one part of the process of putting the right people in the right home.
1964 graduate of Grand Blanc High School.
1964 - 1966 attended Mott Community College.
1968 Completed apprenticeship as Journeyman Toolmaker at General Motors.
1973 became licensed Realtor.
2003 attended Acme Institute and relicensed as Realtor.
As past president of Houghton Lake Kiwanis Club, I try to keep involved with the Kiwanis and have been Team Leader for our Relay for Life Team.
I love houses and old cars. The last classic auto that I had was a 1941 Ford business coupe. There were many thousands of dollars and untold hours of labor invested in that car. I know that every home that I have owned has gone thru some sort of remodel, rebuild, or at least update. I used to love fishing and hope to get back to that hobby this year. My wife has her garden club and bird club, I am considering joining an informal car club that meets here in Houghton Lake.
I was born in Alma Michigan October 3rd, 1946. My parents owned and ran a gas station/restauraunt near there. Grand Blanc Michigan was my home town from the age of 3 until I married and moved to Flint, Swartz Creek, and Gaines, Michigan. I started an apprenticeship at Grand Blanc Fisher Body as a toolmaker. Marriage and two children followed. A life as a skilled tradesman at General Motors gave me the financial success but there seemed something lacking. In 1973 I went to school and became licensed as a Realtor, working part time at it.
In 1977 I moved back to the Flint and my two sons came to live with me. The job of raising children and a position as a toolmaker at Chevrolet displaced the real estate interest until I retired in 1999. In 2001 I moved to Houghton Lake and the following year I went back to get re licensed as a Realtor.
