Meet the Team
Geno D’Angelo is a top producing real estate professional in Cheboygan and Emmet counties of northern Michigan, with Coldwell Banker Schmidt Family of Companies.
Geno was eager to begin his career in the fast paced world of real estate. As the youngest agent in his office (by 30 years), he spent the first eight years of his carer between two local Coldwell Banker companies. Currently, he is surrounded with professionals that share similar views, always looking for new ways to set themselves apart from the competition.
Operating in both the Petoskey and Indian River offices, Geno is expanding his northern Michigan reach by covering a large area. Within the past year, Geno has hired a licensed full time assistant, Jamie, to handle transactions, client management, and premiere customer service. Geno has also created the Geno D’Angelo Group, which he will build in the upcoming months by surrounding himself with other administration assistance, as well as other top producing Realtors. Real estate teams are the way of the future and Geno plans to be one of the pioneers for northern Michigan in that regard.
Today’s home buyers are more educated than ever before in our industry. More and more people are starting their search online, which is why Geno is heavily invested in Zillow and has become a Premier Agent™ for the greater Petoskey area. Geno’s experience is why clients choose to work with him time and time again. Whether you need help buying your first home, commercial real estate, rentals, or investment opportunities, Geno is the guy for you. Geno is an Associate Broker, which means he has the same credentials and education background as a normal broker. This creates the knowledge and understanding for the ins and outs of each real estate transaction.
This industry can be a supplemental income to some or a way to pass the time for a retiree. Not Geno. Geno knew that he wanted to do this for a living, which shows in the drive and dedication he puts into this business.
Real Estate has always been an interest of Geno’s. He obtained his real estate license at the age of 20, while attending Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
Bringing a breath of fresh air to the local market, Geno works hard to provide the highest level of service to his clients. A native of the area, he takes advantage of the northern Michigan lifestyle that attracts many of his clients. This includes his love for golf and enjoying time outdoors with his family.
Residing in northern Michigan for over twenty-five years, Carole has expanded her professional career into one of her lifelong interests, real estate. Her passion for luxury homes and design, coupled with her professionalism and trustworthy approach, provide an enjoyable, reliable experience to all her clients.
Carole’s prior careers in marketing, physician recruiting, and as founder of an event company have equipped her to understand the importance of her clients’ individual objectives. She strives to exceed expectations in every area and specializes in consistent communication with her clients. She has served for 20 years on her Homeowner’s Association board, spearheading improvements to the community, coordinating contractors, and managing financials.
Her clients appreciate her broad knowledge of the area and her understanding of the market. She brings passion, dedication, and a uniquely positive outlook to everything she does, and would love nothing more than to have a conversation with you about how she can help you with any real estate needs.
Autumn was born and raised in Petoskey, Michigan, the fourth generation in a family of home builders and developers. Growing up and seeing firsthand the integrity and quality craftsmanship her dad brought to his clients inspires her to do the same with her involvement in the real estate market.
As Geno’s business partner at the group, Autumn has the privilege of overseeing all marketing, transactions and communication with the Geno and Carole’s clients, in addition to helping her own clients find or sell their home. She believes real estate should be fun, and her favorite thing about her position is the constant activity and variety involved – no two days are exactly the same.
She loves this area and considers it a blessing to live here year-round. The first cool breeze of September, the first jump off the Petoskey breakwall in May, the first snow (often in October!) – Northern Michigan is a land of beautiful firsts, bringing freshness and change with every season. Serving at Walloon Lake Community Church and spending time with family and friends while boating, snowboarding, or road tripping are how Autumn spends her time outside the office.
