Janie Walton has been awarded the August Administrative Assistant of the Month Award! Janie began working with Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt as an Office Assistant in May of 2011.
In September 2013 Janie came on board as the lead Administrative Assistant for the Muskegon Office and is now their Office Manager. Janie leads the administrative staff to make sure things run smoothly.
She manages the day to day transaction processing including bank runs, mail, and office organization. She takes care of emergencies such as doors working properly, running toilets, printer and computer issues along with many other building maintenance issues.
Janie prepares the absorption rate sheets, floor room sheets, calendar, sign up sheets and helping to organize events this office participates in.
She is constantly training in areas of technology such as apps, web sites, marketing tools, and social media so that she can provide technology mentoring, training, and support to each of us. She is available to help each of us in implementing these technologies in our agents' businesses She works closely with management to ensure that these new technologies are introduced in a smooth easy to understand way.
These are just a few of the things that Janie does each and every day.
