After spending many summer and winter days in Northern Michigan over the years, Heather
decided to call it home. She was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area before attending
Central Michigan University, then the University of Michigan where she obtained her graduate
degree from one of the top Master's in Health Administration programs. Upon graduation, she
began working in consulting supporting executive level leadership at hospitals and health
insurance companies across the country. While Heather remains passionate about serving
others through healthcare, her true eye is for real estate.
Before joining Coldwell Banker Schmidt, Heather was a realtor in both Chicago and Grand
Rapids. She began her real estate career in Chicago, where she lived for six years, and guided
clients through a variety of transactions including investment properties, move-in ready homes,
and new construction condos. She then brought her expertise to Grand Rapids for two years
before moving north. She brings a wealth of real estate knowledge learned in two very fast-
paced markets to Northern Michigan.
To Heather, real estate is not just about buying and selling properties, it is about dedicating time
to build individualized and unique relationships with each and every client. Heather is an advisor
and partner whose top priority is to help her clients feel at ease throughout a process that can
often feel overwhelming. She prides herself in being timely, open, and transparent in her
communication and those who have worked with Heather describe her as highly organized,
detail oriented, and trustworthy.
In her free time, you can find Heather planning her next trip, spending time outdoors, playing or
coaching volleyball, volunteering in the community, getting in over her head in DIY projects, or
spending time with her family and friends.
