9477 Goodell Road Eagle Harbor, MI 49950-9523

Set on one of the most private and scenic sections of the Keweenaw, this Lake Superior home delivers crystal clear water and thoughtful construction throughout. Awe-inspiring views reach through most rooms of the home, fully captivating and grounding you in the present moment. *** Inside, a 17 foot ceiling opens up the living room, and maple cabinetry anchors the kitchen, with the lake and islands in view. A striking turret adds a one of a kind profile you won't find elsewhere on the water. Jetted tubs paired with on demand hot water provide unlimited hot water, and a whole house built-in stereo system extends to outdoor music as well. *** The mechanical systems are designed for year round comfort, something not found with every lake home. Central air keeps things cool in summer, and a furnace mounted humidifier adds comfort in winter. The siding has been painted in July. *** The lot runs over 2,000 feet deep with an existing trail, and connects to M-26 on the back side. The home sits on a private road for excellent privacy. All 19 platted lots on this road carry 200 plus feet of frontage, which keeps homes spread out and density low. A pavilion sits roughly 60 feet above the lake, offering panoramic views and a great spot to take in the northern lights, sunrises, sunsets, wildlife, and passing freighters. *** This is a joy of a place to kayak and some neighbors have docks. Workable cell service reaches the property. Two auxiliary sheds, a Generac generator, and a greenhouse are included. *** The main level offers lakeside walkout access. The lower level provides flexible space that could be used as a separate mother in-law suite or a rental, subject to ordinance. *** Few places on the water still feel this wild and unspoiled. The rugged shoreline, clear water, and island views give this stretch of the Keweenaw the untouched character you'd expect closer to Isle Royale, without giving up the comforts of a well-built year round home. *** Be sure to view the 3D tour and video tours to get a better understanding of the property!
